Out of paper? Check out PrintablePaper.net

Hi teachers imagine this situation for one of your students. They have a paper due. They've waited until the last day to get started. It has to be handwritten. They take a look into their backpack….no paper! They take a look at the clock on the wall…it's midnight. All the stores are closed. If they didn't remember that you put a hyperlink to PrintablePaper on you website, they’d be pretty screwed. With PrintablePaper, you or your students never have to worry about running out of “special” paper. As long as you have a printer, you can print graph paper, lined paper, and even Cornell paper. And it's not just for forgetful students. The site has free lesson plan paper, grade book charts, staff music paper, seating charts, score sheets for coaches and storyboard templates. Below are some examples:

Science - Dynamic Periodic Table

Hi guys, todays site is ptable.com. It is an interactive periodic table with dynamic layouts showing names, electrons, oxidation, trend visualization, orbitals, isotopes, and a search function. In the class room using this site with a interactive white board would be cool. By touching the elements on the table you can open up a popup for definitions, images,  or even a videos to keep kids engaged. Wish this was around when I was in school! An other function that is really cool is a temperature slider, which shows which elements are liquids, gases and solids at different temps!

So go check it out and come back and comment about what you think. Maybe you can come up with other fun ways to use this site in the classroom.
